Players flip onto a shared pile. Face cards demand an answer: Ace 4 chances, King 3, Queen 2, Jack 1. Fail to lay a face card and the challenger takes the pile.
Slap a double (top two ranks match) or a sandwich (top matches the card two down). First valid slap takes the pile. Slap when nothing matches and you burn a card under the pile.
Last player with cards wins. Humans only — the table waits.
